Elda Morales

Monica Reyes

Executive Director/Administrator

Monica is a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) as well as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and is pursuing a career as a registered nurse (RN). Since joining our team as a Medication Technician, Monica has established an accomplishments-driven career highlighted by rapid promotions to various leadership roles. Those roles include Medication Management Supervisor, Resident Care Coordinator, Wellness Director, and finally to her current role as Administrator. As an Administrator, Monica oversees and directs the day-to-day functions and efficient operations of the community in accordance with all Federal, State, and local regulations as well as all company policies and procedures. She also ensures the highest level of quality care for residents while maintaining and creating a harmonious working environment for all caregivers and staff members. Monica shows compassion through her loving personality and her passion for serving others. She prides herself on taking interest in each resident’s unique story.

During her free time Monica Enjoys spending time with her family and finds endless motivation in her three children.

Esmeralda Elizarraraz

Resident Care Coordinator

Esmeralda joined our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and has over 13 years of experience in the healthcare field. Through hard work and constantly displaying extraordinary leadership skills amongst the staff, Esmeralda was promoted to Resident Care Coordinator. In her role as a Resident Care Coordinator, Esmeralda provides compassionate care and oversight of each resident, including assessing, managing health needs, communication with healthcare teams and family members, as well as supervision of the staff providing resident care. Esmeralda contributes her success in this role to finding passion and purpose in what she does.

Michelle Gonzales

Activities Director

Michelle joined our team as the Assistant Activities Director, bringing several years of experience in healthcare and caregiving. Michelle was promoted to Activities Director following superior performance and demonstrated passion for participating in the lives of seniors by creating enrichment opportunities to keep them moving and grooving! Michelle shares a passion with her peers in promoting and supporting quality care for all residents. She is constantly seeking to learn and grow both in her personal life and professional. In her free time Michelle loves to bake, craft, spend time with family, and even shares a small business with her husband.

Daniel Cahuatle

Maintenance Director

Our Maintenance Director, Daniel, has been an integral part of our team for 14 years. In this role, Daniel works hard to preserve the excellent condition and functionality of our community premises and goes above and beyond to make our community feel like home. He attributes his success to his vast knowledge and extensive experience in a wide range of maintenance oriented roles as well as his commitment to proactively provide the highest level of service to our community. Daniel prides himself on being able to maintain a positive outlook and remain calm at all times, regardless of how hectic things may become.

Robert Gutierrez, MPH

Executive Director/Administrator

Robert is a Camarillo resident and has worked in healthcare for the last 10 years. He considers it a privilege to serve Aasta residents and the Camarillo community at large. “As a young child, I was influenced by my grandmother who tirelessly cleaned patient rooms in a convalescent home. My grandmother taught me to serve others with dignity and respect no matter their background or title. It is this belief that I bring to Aasta.  We are creating something special, something focused on values, quality resident care, and a desire to be the senior living employer of choice in Ventura county.”  On weekends you can find Robert volunteering at Padre Serra Catholic Church, running throughout Camarillo, and playing soccer with his wife and two daughters.

Heherson Perey

Heherson Perey

Food & Beverage Director

Heherson has lived in the Ventura County area for over 25 years, having completed his culinary training at Oxnard College in 2008. He has worked in the restaurant industry for over 14 years and most recently has spent the last 7 years in Senior Living Facilities. Heherson enjoys volunteering as a dietary instructor at Oxnard College. He takes pride in cooking for others and strives to provide the best service possible each and every day.
